As a Sana member, you have access to Care Navigation, part of Sana Care– our virtual primary care and care guidance service that’s already included in your plan! Whether you need help finding a provider, next steps after a visit, or support getting care for your child, our Care Navigation team is here to guide you.
Our Care Navigation team can:
- Connect you with trusted partners and programs that fit your needs
- Recommend in-network specialists
- Coordinate in-person care like labs or imaging
- Get the right care for your child dependents (17 and under)
The best part? It’s all built right into your member portal, so you can get guided to the right care in just a few clicks.
Who can use Care Navigation?

Please note, we can only provide care navigation services for family members covered on your Sana plan. If your covered child is 18 or older, they’ll need to create and log into their own account to submit a request. Inviting them is easy – you can help them set up their account here.
How to Get Started with Sana Care
- Log in to your member portal: https://secure.sanabenefits.com/care
- From the Sana Care tab, you’ll see one of two options:
- Get Care Now button — Submit a care request directly to our virtual care team
- Care Navigation instructions — If virtual providers aren’t available in your state or you're requesting care for your child, follow the steps to email our Care Navigation team
You’ll receive personalized support from our Care Navigation team to help you find the right next step.
During business hours (M–F, 9am–5pm CT), our Care Navigation team typically sends an initial reply within 1 business day and prioritizes based on urgency of request. Depending on your request, it may take up to another 1–2 business days to build you a customized list of recommendations as we coordinate with in-person clinics to confirm availability or specialty care.
Curious what we can help with? Here are some examples of when to reach out:
Mental health support
Example: “I’m feeling anxious and need support — what options do I have?”
A Care Navigator can connect you with mental health resources like in-person therapy or a trusted digital health partner like Headspace or Talkiatry.
Pediatric care
Example: “I need a pediatrician for my kid.”
We'll connect you with virtual pediatric urgent care (available in most states) or help you find an in-network pediatrician near you.
Specialist referrals
Example: “My doctor told me to see a specialist, but I don’t know who’s covered or how to tell if they specialize in my care need.”
We’ll confirm which specialists are in-network or share information on relevant, low-cost programs available to you.
