Acupuncture Costs and Visit Limits

Acupuncture coverage depends on your plan's effective date.

Plans effective before 9/1/26
Acupuncture is covered for qualifying members:

• $25 copay for qualifying members on PPO Plus plans
• Covered and subject to the deductible for qualifying members of PPO Plus HSA plans
• No referral or prior authorization required
• Limited to 20 sessions per year, per member

Plans effective on or after 9/1/26
Acupuncture is not a covered benefit. Members will be responsible for the full cost of acupuncture services.
