Sana is proud to partner with Edison Healthcare to offer transplants and pediatric surgery at Centers of Excellence (COE).

For the following procedures, Edison Healthcare provides you and your dependents access to the best doctors and facilities in the country, and will coordinate all travel details for you. All services and procedures are free for members of our PPO Plus (C, B, E, P, and S) Plans and free after deductible for our PPO Plus HSA Plans. We do this because we believe that when it comes to getting the best care, Sana members shouldn’t be limited by their distance from the nation’s top medical centers.

Here’s how Edison works:

1. Contact Edison and have your Sana ID card handy.
2. You’ll go through a pre-certification process used to identify and refer surgical candidates.
3. Edison Healthcare will use its network of world-class facilities to find you the best option for your condition among Edison Healthcare’s SmartCare Centers of Excellence.
4. Edison Healthcare’s concierge services will schedule an appointment for you at a SmartCare Center of Excellence.
5. Edison Healthcare will arrange and pay for all necessary travel, including air, room and board, and program fees for you and a companion. 
6. The care team will confirm and/or correct the diagnosis.
7. You’ll get the world-class surgical or nonsurgical treatment you need.
