Step 1: Ask Your Provider to Bill Sana Directly
Most providers are happy to work with Sana. Simply share this information with them:

What if My Provider Won’t Bill Sana Directly?
If your provider won’t bill Sana directly, no worries — you can still see them using one of our Flex Care options:
- Self-Pay Reimbursements: Pay upfront and get reimbursed by Sana later.
- Access Requests (Single Case Agreements): Request a temporary agreement for specific procedures or providers.

How to Get Started
Step 1: Choose the right option.
- Start with Sana Care: Log in to your Sana Member Portal to message the Care Team
- Direct Bill: Ask your provider to bill us using the script above.
- Self-Pay: Request the provider’s cash rate and collect itemized receipts after your visit.
- Access Request: Submit a Single Case Agreement request for surgeries or providers requiring contracts.
What Happens at Your Visit?
- Sana Care: Speaking with the Sana Care team is fully covered. No need to worry about billing!
- Direct Bill: Check in as usual. Your provider will bill us directly.
- Self-Pay: Check in as usual and collect an itemized bill with CPT codes.
- Access Request: Check in as usual. Your billing contract will already be on file.
What Happens After Your Visit?
- Sana Care: You’re all set! No action needed.
- Direct Bill: You’re all set! No action needed.
